Goro:
is a Netherlands-based DJ and Producer. His music is influenced by ethnic and mystic elements combined with meditative melodic tunes.
As a teenager, he started experimenting with House, Minimal, and Techno. He was mainly inspired by Richard “Richie” Hawtin and his dream back then was to play at a well-known dance festival in Europe. Electronic music was not approved by the conservative local music scene and his passion soon became an expression of freedom and a personal choice that defined his identity.
During his long journey, Goro found in electronic music a creative space, where he could transform the external violent reality into inner peace. Through hypnotic grooves and minimal colorful effects, Goro aspires to transmit the same feelings of love, unity, and freedom to his audience.
Performance:
First public performance was in 2017 in Utrecht. His first sudden success brought him quick recognition in the local dance scene; in the same year, his sets were welcomed by a wider audience in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Rotterdam. Since then, he has played in several festivals, including the Dutch Decompression (Burning Man NL) in 2019 and 2021, the Feel Festival in 2018 & 2019, and The Monastery festival. His old dream to play at a European music festival became true, and we do not forget Cyprus and Egypt in the Middle East.
By now he counts several successful collaborations with labels such as the Baikal Nomads, MŎNɅDɅ, Hug Records, RunAfter Records, and many releases of original and remix tracks. He has a rising number of followers on social media and he’s involved with Obscure & Orientaldeep Records
His uprising presence in the music scene of Europe and the Middle East is the result of the broad audience that is attracted to his music. While following the beat of ethnic downtempo and organic deep house, his sets re-invent a familiar story that carries the sounds of his cultural heritage and speaks directly to the heart of a mixed crowd.
Goal:
Next goal is to achieve a higher number of successful partnerships with uprising record labels & event organizers from Europe and the Middle East. His vision is to share his love for music with a wider crowd and to continue contributing to the international electronic music scene by offering meaningful and qualitative music.
